Mara Lopez, who is the daughter of beauty queen-actress Maria Isabel Lopez, is the cover girl of Playboy Philippines’ 6th anniversary issue. The 23-year-old actress appears to be posing completely nude in a bathtub on the cover.

According to Playboy Philippines, they picked Mara for the cover since they believe that she best represents sensuality. “For the 6th year anniversary of Playboy Philippines, we had been on the look out for a muse. One who best represents ferocious sensuality without overstepping the lines of class and sophistication. One who, like this alluring actress, represents the wit and playfulness of this iconic brand,” the magazine posted on its Facebook page.

It is not the first time that the 23-year-old actress went daring as she appeared in several sexy films like Palitan where she had frontal nudity scenes. She won Best Actress at the 2012 Cinema One Originals for her role in the movie. She also showed some skin in an independent film titled Debosyon.

Mara was part of ABS-CBN’s Ang TV Kids 2 when she was 9. She was a professional surfer and won the Surfing Championship Ladies Division at the age of 11 in 2002. In 2006, Mara was launched as part of Star Magic Batch 13. She starred in ABS-CBN's Sineserye Presents: Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos? She had a small role in ABS-CBN's Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv and had guest appearances in some ABS-CBN shows.
