Wakeboarder Daniel Ombao had hesitations facing haranista Jason Dee as Coach Sarah Geronimo paired them off in her first Battle Round. Both singers though were initimidated by the song 'Down on Bended Knee' by Boys II Men, which the Popstar Royalty chose for them to sing. Coach Bamboo gave Jason props in the technical area but thought Daniel was more soulful. Coach Apl and Lea chose Jason though. In the end, Sarah picks Jason to go on to the next level of competition because of his 'smart singing.'
