On Kris TV, actor James Reid said that he is just friends with Kim Chiu’s sister, Twinkle after she posted on Facebook an exchange of text messages between her and the actor with the caption, “kilig much!!!!! hahahaha.”

When asked why they are close friends, James corrected, “We’re not close friends, we’re just friends.” He also shared that they got to hang out in an event, “We were out somewhere. She’s friends with Andi (Eigenmann)…” The Talk Back and You’re Dead actor also said that he is not dating anyone at the moment.

On James’ showbiz career, Kris asked, “Was it a difficult decision to choose? Kasi alam kong pinag-agawan kayo, ‘di ba? Whether to go sa GMA or dito sa ABS, nahirapan ba kayo to decide?” to which the young actor answered, “No, actually it was easy,” adding that he started in ABS-CBN when he joined the teen edition of Pinoy Big Brother in 2010. “My fan base started with ABS po, parang it feels good to be home,” he added.
