Andi Eigenmann has ABS-CBN to thank for the showbiz opportunities she'rsquo;s enjoying. 'I'rsquo;m so happy; I'rsquo;m so thankful to the management, for taking care of me na pumasok ako sa industriya, not knowing where this would take me. Gusto ko lang talagang subukan,' she began. 'And I'rsquo;ve learned. They just taught me to love it and be cool with it and be so passionate about it at hindi ko talaga siya kayang iwan at wala akong ibang ginagawa kundi to strive to be better in this industry because I really like this industry.' Andi said that she will always be grateful for management'rsquo;s trust in her and for giving her Agua Bendita, which launched her as one of this year'rsquo;s breakthrough artists.

At present, Andi is the featured actress in the TV series, Your Song, and revealed that she is slated to do another teleserye, Galema, Anak ni Zuma.

Tagged as the Heiress of Drama, Andi is now being pitted against another up-and-coming actress, Empress, considered as Empress of Drama. Rumor has it that some projects which were supposedly intended for Empress have been given to Andi. 'I don'rsquo;t think so. Kasi kaibigan ko po si Empress. She was launched a few months after I was,' Andi explained about the rivalry issue. 'All I got was Agua, Your Song, and that new teleserye (Galema). Tatlo lang 'lsquo;yon so hindi kay Empress 'lsquo;yon. Sa Your Song, all of us will get the chance to do that. Empress will get her chance too so wala akong inagaw sa kanya.'

She also clarified that there is no tension between her and Empress because they have been friends even before they were given their breaks in showbiz. 'Si Empress sobrang bait n'rsquo;yan, no. Sa aming dalawa never kang makakaramdam ng awkward rivalry o kumpitensya sa isa'rsquo;t-isa. Turingan talaga namin ni Empress para talagang magkaibigan. Normal na magkaibigan. Hindi 'lsquo;yung parehong artistang naglalaban sa industriya.'

The young actress also commented about mistaken identity issue when she was previously romantically linked to Jericho Rosales. (It later turned out to be another Andi who was involved, DJ and host Andi Manzano.) 'Hindi naman po sa relieved, more on wala po akong pakialam. Sorry, wala talaga akong pakialam kasi hindi naman talaga totoo,' she explained. 'Magkapitbahay lang po kami ni Echo, so 'lsquo;yun lang. I mean we'rsquo;re acquainted but not to the extent that I have his number in my phone book so it doesn'rsquo;t really affect me in any way whether in a positive or negative way, whatsoever.'
