It would be difficult, impossible even, to search for a special connection with a stranger. That’s why Aurora (Sharon Cuneta) and Mara (Julia Montes) are puzzled why they’re naturally drawn to each other, why circumstances always put them in the same place and time. Check out their kismet-ushered meetings in this Kapamilya Toplist of scenes from the hit action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Aurora and Mara crossed each other’s paths when the former saved the latter from a group of armed men. Aurora was driving when she saw a man pointing a gun at the wounded Mara. She accidentally hit the gunman, causing him to fall unconscious to the ground. Then, she rushed Mara to the hospital.

Aurora never judged the stranger despite not knowing who she really is. The concern was simply organic. She talked to her, asked her name and background, in a manner that’s full of gentleness. Sensing the discomfort, Aurora asked Mara to wait until she’s back from speaking with the doctor. She would insist on bringing her home, but Mara would be gone without a warning. There was a hint of guilt on Mara’s part as well. However, she knew she couldn't stay long and befriend the kind Samaritan.

Mara arrived home and opened up to her mother Lolita (Rosanna Roces). She narrated her encounter with a group of armed men and how she got saved. She was delighted to talk about Aurora, amazed to know that good souls still exist.

Again, they bumped into each other at a church. Aurora sensed Mara’s trouble and felt like the latter needed comfort. But it would be impossible to ask someone you just met to open up. Despite clearing up her intentions, which is to lend an ear, Aurora still wasn’t able to break down Mara’s walls. She decided to just leave to give her space.

Then they started to wonder about their seemingly strong connection and why they’d always run into each other. Aurora thought to herself, “Sa hindi ko maipaliwanag na dahilan, pakiramdam ko matagal na kitang kilala.” She wanted to know her better, and it goes deeper than just gathering information. She’s deeply worried about her.

The scene cuts to Mara’s internal dialogue. She’s likewise thinking about Aurora’s lasting impression on her. Realizing that the woman had shown her nothing but kindness, she prayed Aurora’s wishes might also be granted as a reward for the pure-heartedness.

They didn’t know fate would reunite them anew, with Aurora in need of rescue this time. After they managed to escape the kidnappers, they went to the special place where Aurora and ex-love President Oscar (Rowell Santiago) used to meet. They would gaze at the lovely scenery, then, at each other’s faces, amazed by how they ran into each other again.

Is there a deeper relation between Aurora and Mara? Only the next episodes hold the answer, so don’t miss out on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
